In a cramped theatre-like space, three folding chairs face a small, portable movie screen which sits on a table. From underneath one of the chairs, a cinematic device projects a sequence of a woman’s legs curtseying on a red curtained stage. As a perpetual performance of acquiescence, this politely enacted show implies a psychic exchange with an imaginary viewer.

Mixed media: Three wooden, folding chairs, portable movie screen, wooden table, color film, light, lens, motor, fan, mirrors, steel, velvet, vinyl record, 60 × 72 × 168 inches.
