Decoy
A household cabinet containing a zoetrope mechanism is mounted on the wall above a coffee table. With its doors ajar, the mechanism projects images downwards onto the cloth doilee on the coffee table below. Silhouetted images of a woman struggling within the space of the oval doilee repeatedly loop: as she attempts to run forward out of the frame, she is yanked backwards by her hair.
